Here’s what Xiaomi is going to launch in Ireland – Pricing

We’ve covered Xiaomi’s launch in Ireland extensively, following an invitation to Three’s launch event in Dublin. All of us at IrishTech have been looking forward to their launch here, given that the company is known for having killer hardware at a great price. It’s not just their phones; their accessories are also revered for their price to performance ratio. Three has provided us with details of what items are going to be available from the 2nd of November, and how much they will cost. Obviously, we know that the Mi Mix 2S, Redmi 6 and the Redmi Note 5 are getting launched, but the company is also launching a number of different earphones, a speaker and even a smart weighing scales.

Note: Only handsets can be purchased online on Three’s website, all other items can only be purchased instore.

Xiaomi Mi Band 3

A fan favourite of many, the Mi Band 3 is the company’s fitness-oriented smartwatch. It doesn’t just display your notifications on your wrist, but it also has automatic heart rate detection, real-time sports tracking and a 20-day battery life when the automatic heart rate detection is switched off. When switched on, it can last up to 3 days. The Mi Band 3 costs €39 and can be bought in-store.

Xiaomi Amazfit PACE Black

The Amazfit PACE Black is another smartwatch, made in co-operation with AMAZFIT. It features GPS support and a real-looking watch face. It has onboard music storage so that you don’t need your phone on you if you’d like to listen to music, and it supports a number of different exercises that it can monitor. Just like any other smartwatch, you’ll also get your notifications popping up on the screen. The Amazfit PACE Black retails at €159, a pricier option than the Mi Band 3.

Xiaomi Mi Body Composition Scale

Xiaomi is also launching a smart weighing scales, which can connect to your phone and tell you everything you want to know about your weight – and everything you don’t want to as well! It doesn’t just weigh you, as it also tries to figure out other key metrics that make up your body such as bone density and muscle mass. It’s a must-have for any technology loving fitness enthusiast and retails at €39.

Xiaomi Mi ANC Type-C In-Ear Earphones

Have you recently picked up a smartphone that doesn’t feature a headphone jack, something possibly like the Google Pixel 3? You’re going to need a set of USB-C earphones, which Xiaomi are going to sell through Three. They retail at €59.

Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Speaker

Xiaomi’s other offerings include the likes of Bluetooth speakers with long battery lives, and they’re going to be launched here as well. The Mi Bluetooth speaker lasts for 8 hours on a single charge and even supports hands-free calling. It will be available in Blue and will retail at €39.

Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones and Xiaomi Mi In-Ear Headphones Pro 2

Xiaomi gave out free sets of the Pro 2 earphones to attendees of their launch event, and I personally find them amazing. The company is also launching a much cheaper option as well. Both can be picked up in Three stores nationwide. Xiaomi as a company has always been celebrated for their earphones, and they won’t disappoint. The Mi In-Ear Headphones retail at €12, while the Pro 2 earphones retail at €29.
