Ireland doesn’t exactly have the best Netflix catalogue. While you can get some of the great Netflix originals such as Stranger Things and Better Call Saul in Ireland, there aren’t many other shows or movies available that you may want to watch here. Have you ever wanted to watch Grey’s Anatomy in Ireland on Netflix? What about The 100? There are so many shows on Netflix in other countries, not even just America, that you may want to see. There are ways around that though and ways to watch American Netflix in Ireland, although they do cost money.

So what’s the best way to go about getting American Netflix in Ireland? Your best bet is through the use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN). It’s basically a proxy but it will allow you to fool Netflix into thinking you’re in another country. The company cracked down on these a few years ago, so your regular free VPNs won’t work anymore. That’s why you’ll need to pay for one, but thankfully there is one cost-effective VPN which also proved extremely easy to use. That VPN is called NordVPN.

NordVPN is $12 a month, but they actually have a deal going on where you can buy 3 years of it for $90. That is the plan that I am on, which I purchased on Cyber Monday last year in November. Not only does their application work perfectly with Netflix, but it’s incredibly intuitive as well. Take a look. Their Android and iOS applications work the same way too! Simply click the country you want and it will set your location to there.

NordVPN allows you to watch American Netflix in Ireland. You can choose more than just America, though.

And you’re not just limited to American Netflix either. Pretty much any European country is available, along with others as well. You can even use it with Spotify, which will allow you to listen to new song releases early by setting your country to New Zealand. There’s a lot of flexibility here, and NordVPN allows you a great deal of freedom when it comes to online streaming. Give it a try and let us know what you think down in the comments!
